A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
I like to spend my time being creative, learning and trying new things. I like to help others when I can. And I like to spend each day grateful for what I have in my life no matter how small it may be. Some of the hobbies I like to do when time permits is:
Some of my interest and hobbies
Produce Videos and Music - I like to produce videos using both DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premier Pro. If I had an opportunity to become a producer I would in a heartbeat. I also love to dabble in composing music using Ableton Live Studio edition along with my 49 key mini keyboard from Novation. It allows me to create loops and design drum beats while utilizing multiple channels. From a creative standpoint it's an amazing tool.
Ride Motorcycle - I love motorcycles for the same reason many say they do. It's fun to be in the open element, wind at your face while seeing the sights the journey has to offer. I normally ride once in a while due to having to drive outside the city to be safe. But if I had an opportunity in my future to live in a more urban environment I would ride more often. Perhaps one day in my future that will be a reality.
Wood Working - In my past I have create many projects using wood tools. I had found I had gotten quite good at it. With the right tools and time I was able to create and fix many things. I enjoyed again being creative and taking to great detail in my work. From making furniture to creating shelves to everything in between, it's just a fun hobby.
Drones - I have had many drones in my time. I love to fly them and explore as well as use them for videography. I the past I had a garden channel on YouTube in which the mini drone I had used was inspirational in getting overhead angles I could never get otherwise. I still have my mini drone and fly it when I can.
Photography - Yep, another hobby I had taken on while creating videos on the YouTube channel. It was something I never thought I would enjoy but in time watching other YouTube channels on the subject I found myself in my normal mode of learning and getting better at it. At one point, I had a $3500 Sony Alpha 7-IIIS camera which was my pride and joy. Unfortunately I did not have a good enough use for it and decided to let it go. Prior to that I had the Sony Alpha ZV-E10 camera which is just as good as the high end. And before that I had a Cannon EOS M50. Today I have a Sony A6700 Hybrid APS-C Camera that I use to capture both true to life images and video for both memory sake as well as YouTube content. It's an amazing tool paired with my FeiyuTech SCORP Mini 3 Pro Kit Gimbal with AI Tracker. Buttery smooth cinematic A and B role shots are what I like to capture.
Gardening - I love to garden. Nothing better then growing your own food. Even though it takes time to garden it's the one hobby that is doable as long as you come up with a way to maintain it using different technologies and past practices from others.
Cooking - Lately I have taken on learning to cook my own meals. With all the free recipes on the internet anyone can learn some good healthy choices. I try to stay with traditional means with meat, pork and chicken and a vegetable side dish. Looking to learn many other types of food in the future. But for now, it's nice to be able to cook for myself and a friend if needed.
Planet Fitness - Like most people my age, it's a good thing to keep in shape when you have a career that keeps you sitting and casual walking throughout the day. Being able to set some time aside to keep your energy levels up it's a good thing to keep within your routine. For me, it's mainly cardio and machine weights. Eventually I will move onto free weights.
Walking/Hiking - Another thing I like to do when the weather permits is to explore and hike trails while taking pictures and capturing moments. So much beauty in this world and I love to be in nature away from the city when time permits.
Some other things I like to do is just visit small towns within the state that has history, spend over night and visit the mom and pop restaurants and businesses. I also don't mind doing a over night trip in a cabin and hiking the woods to find water features and scenic views. All while listening to nature along those journeys. But for the most part I am pretty open to trying anything once. With my retirement coming up I eventually want to travel to all kinds of places in and outside the US. Explore new cultures, sights and meet new interesting people. I will retire with a good invested amount, like everyday can feel like a field trip with no worries about money or time. Just soaking it all in and enjoying the moments on fun journey.
